As per league rule 6 please be advised and take this email as formal notice that the 2018 Annual General Meeting of the Leicester City & County Girls football league will take place on Monday 25th June. Sign in from 7pm. Meeting to start at 7.30pm prompt!
Venue is Leicestershire & Rutland County FA, Holmes park, Dog & Gun lane, Whetstone, Leicester LE8 6FA.
All clubs (not teams) are entitled to send two delegates. Only one vote per club (if needed) is allowed - (6C).
All clubs are reminded that attendance at the AGM is mandatory and a fine of £50 will be imposed for non attendance (6H).
I will shortly be emailing out an annual statement of account to each club individually which will confirm payments received this year. Should any outstanding payments appear these will need to be paid in full by return.
The league accounts will be closed off on May 30th in order for the annual statement of accounts to be emailed to all by June 11th.
Other than the FA imposed rule changes (if any) we have one rule change to be voted on at the AGM:
Playing format for U12 teams be increased from 7v7 to 9v9.
The following positions will become vacant at the AGM. Volunteers are needed urgently therefore to take on these roles. Any interested person(s) can contact me for advice on what each role involves. It is appreciated that as a club secretary you will already be committing a large amount of time as a volunteer. However the league also needs volunteers so please also ask within your club. This is extremely important for the ongoing function of the league for next season. The more people that come on to the committee means tasks can be shared which in turn makes them less time consuming.
Currently the following committee members have indicated that they will continue and can therefore stand without nomination.
Registrations Secretary & County FA rep - Ant Littlejohns
Referee Secretary - Adie Thornborrow
Football Development Officer & County FA rep - Wayne McDermott
